Be Careful What You Wish For

I immediately became suspicious of the fast-track vaccines when the pharma companies were given immunity from liability for anyone who had adverse reactions. Then, when they started talking about using retrovirus techniques in the vaccine (mRNA), I got real suspicious, because what retroviruses do is modify the host's DNA. In fact, mRNA is how scientists do gene editing in laboratories. So, by injecting such a vaccine into a young person, it could have grave implications which are passed on to offspring, that is, if it doesn't make them sterile first.  For old farts like me who are past child bearing age, it is not such a big deal, but the real life roll out in the UK has shown that high percentages (single digit, but high by comparison) of recipients can get either Bell's Palsy or go into anaphalactic shock, or both. And, by the way, this is not being publicized by the major media in Europe or the United States.

However, the information is getting out in other venues.  The former head of Pfizer respiratory research points out:

  • The formation of so-called “non-neutralizing antibodies” can lead to an exaggerated immune reaction, especially when the test person is confronted with the real, “wild” virus after vaccination. This so-called antibody-dependent amplification, ADE, has long been known from experiments with corona vaccines in cats, for example. In the course of these studies all cats that initially tolerated the vaccination well died after catching the wild virus.
  • The vaccinations are expected to produce antibodies against spike proteins of SARS-CoV-2. However, spike proteins also contain syncytin-homologous proteins, which are essential for the formation of the placenta in mammals such as humans. It must be absolutely ruled out that a vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 could trigger an immune reaction against syncytin-1, as otherwise infertility of indefinite duration could result in vaccinated women.
  • The mRNA vaccines from BioNTech/Pfizer contain polyethylene glycol (PEG). 70% of people develop antibodies against this substance – this means that many people can develop allergic, potentially fatal reactions to the vaccination.
  • The much too short duration of the study does not allow a realistic estimation of the late effects. As in the narcolepsy cases after the swine flu vaccination, millions of healthy people would be exposed to an unacceptable risk if an emergency approval were to be granted and the possibility of observing the late effects of the vaccination were to follow. Nevertheless, BioNTech/Pfizer apparently submitted an application for emergency approval on December 1, 2020.

Not exactly a glowing endorsement, eh? The second bullet is especially troublesome. With widespread distribution of the vaccine, there is potential for mass sterilization of women.

People should not stand for this. Such a situation has the potential to be the poster child for "the cure being worse than the disease". The pharma companies have very little incentive to provide a really safe vaccine. After all, they have been granted immunity from any legal repercussions. One has to wonder at how a government that purports to be "for the people" could allow a situation like this to exist.

The consequences of injecting RNA into the human body are unknown. Should this vaccine become mandatory to participate in society, it is not inconceivable that we end up with an I Am Legend scenario.

As you consider this, think to yourself,

If masks work, why do we need social distancing?

If social distancing works, why do we need masks?

If either one works, why do we need lockdowns?

If ANY of them work, why do we need new vaccines?

Think about it.

Rigging Elections

Jan Jekielek literally eyewitnessed vote rigging in Venezuela by the use of Smartmatic voting software. Smartmatic, as you may recall, provided code and services to Dominion Voting Systems, as pointed out in my last post. This testimony alone should make anyone short of a totalitarian eschew the use of either Smartmatic or Dominion in any electoral process.

But the fix is in. Rational people, and people who understand fraud really well, are suspicious of the US presidential election results. Meanwhile, the mainstream media and cultural pundits are decrying any questioning of the results.

Kt Knightly has written an essay about election rigging and what the evidence is to support the suspicion that the US election was rigged.

The US Election is still a burning issue almost two weeks after the people went to the polls, and though the race has been called for Biden by every mainstream media outlet in the world, the recounts are ongoing and irregularities manifest.

Trump’s legal team, and many in the alternate media, are claiming the election was rigged. With one voice the mainstream media – and the entire political establishment – denounce these claims as “baseless”, and scream there is “no evidence”.

This is incorrect. There is plenty of evidence, both circumstantial and direct, which breaks down into six basic categories:

  1. Precedent – It has happened before.
  2. Motive – Deep State/Military dislike of Trump’s policies is widely known.
  3. Foreknowledge – Establishment voices predicted this exact situation.
  4. Opportunity – The voting system is highly susceptible to fraud.
  5. Voting Irregularities – Known software “glitches” & irregularities in the reporting of the results.
  6. Cover-up – Dishonesty in the reporting of the situation.

It is a good summary of why we should be suspicious. It is well worth reading the whole thing.

The Crime Of The Century

It's the crime of the century, and it appears that the miscreants are going to get away with it.

I am, of course, talking about the United States 2020 presidential election. Over 85% of people who voted for President Trump believe that the election, as it stands today, 16 November 2020, was stolen by the Democrats.

There are so many more indicators of fraud now than there were just last week.

  • Dominion Voting Systems provided the voting machines for 30 states, including several of the swing states. Dominion is owned by Blum Capital Partners, LP. Blum Capital Partners is run by Richard C, Blum, Senator Dianne Feinstein's (D-CA) husband.
  • Nancy Pelosi's husband is an investor in Dominion.
  • More than one state has identified a glitch in the software used in the Dominion machines. Even though the Dominion website categorically denies any problems with their systems, Dominion admits to a glitch in Georgia.
  • Smartmatic provides software and service in conjunction with Dominion. They have been connected to voting fraud in the Philippines. Smartmatic is run by Mark Brown, who also works for George Soros.
  • Dominion donated money and possible machinery to the Clinton Foundation.
  • The states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Texas have filed a Writ of Certiorari in the Supreme Court against Pennsylvania for election fraud and will not certify elections until this is fixed. It will be interesting to see what SCOTUS does with this.
  • Texas and Florida rejected the Dominion voting systems and were not flipped like Georgia and Michigan.
  • Voters in 21 states can register and vote on election day. This is a recipe for massive fraud, as there is no time to determine if the registrant is currently registered in other precincts.
  • Federal prosecutors are rebelling against the US Attorney General and refusing to investigate voter fraud claims.

Voting Fraud Updates

More evidence of voter fraud is surfacing. In Georgia, a reliably Red state, there is a very fishy smell.

In Georgia, among ballots that only voted for President and no other races, the votes are:

  • Trump: 818
  • Biden: 95,801
In Georgia, among ballots that voted for President and at least one other race:
  • Trump: 2,456,915
  • Biden: 2,376,081

And, the Trump campaign has filed an emergency injunction in Michigan, a state that flipped after most of the votes were in. The campaign is alleging several types of fraud, misconduct, and invalidated ballots based on a number of reasons - including 'malfunctioning' vote counting machines made by Dominion Voting Systems. The Tuesday night filing in the US District Court for the Western District of Michigan alleges, among other things, that officials prevented GOP challengers from observing the count, scanned "batches of the same ballots multiple times," illegally accepted and pre-dated late ballots, including from unmonitored drop boxes, and that election workers illegally duplicated ballots," according to a statement from the campaign. The lawsuit requeusts that the court toss all ballots not observed by a GOP election challenger who has been "allowed to meaningfully observe the process and the handling and counting of the ballot."

UPDATE

Here is an account of an eyewitness who was scheduled for an interview on Hannity's Fox show and was pulled at the last moment:

-She is naming names. This took place in Detroit. Here is the synopsis.

-This lady is an IT tech for Dominion Voting Systems, sent to the polls to make sure the machines operate correctly and assist the workers.

-While there observes anomalies in the counter on one of the tabulating machines, resulting in hundreds of votes being counted numerous times

-When reported to her boss Nick Ikonomakis (VP and co-owner) he took her aside and said "the last thing we need is a problem, we are only here to assist with IT, not help them run elections"

A Fraud of Epic Proportions

In the United States, the 2020 presidential election has been held. It appears to have been marred with voter fraud on a scale which has never been seen before.

President Trump was leading in most states and close to claiming victory in most of the swing states, and all of a sudden, "lost" votes were found with statistically improbable percentages of those votes cast for the opponent, Joe Biden.

It doesn't stop there. As Larry Corriea points out, there are so many red flags that only a fool could believe that the election was on the up-and-up:

The massive turn out alone is a red flag.

But as for doing better…

The late night spikes that were enough to close all the Trump leads are a red flag.

The statistically impossible breakdown of the ratios of these vote dumps is a red flag.

The ratios of these dumps being far better than the percentages in the bluest of blue cities, even though the historical data does not match, red flag.

The ratios of these vote dumps favoring Biden more in these few battlegrounds than the ratio for the rest of the country (even the bluest of the blue) red flag.

Biden outperforming Obama among these few urban vote dumps, even though Trump picked up points in every demographic group in the rest of the country, red flag.

The poll observers being removed. Red flag.

The counters cheering as GOP observers are removed, red flag.

The fact that the dem observers outnumber the GOP observers 3 to 1, red flag (and basis of the first lawsuit filed)

The electioneering at the polls (on video), red flag.

The willful violation of the court order requiring the separation of ballots by type, red flag.

USPS whistleblower reporting to the Inspector General that today they were ordered to backdate ballots to yesterday, red flag.

The video of 2 AM deliveries of what appear to be boxes of ballots with no chain of custody or other observers right before the late night miracle spikes, red flag.

Any of those things would be enough to trigger an audit in the normal world. This many flags and I’d be giggling in anticipation of catching some thieves.

And it isn’t that I have to do better. I’m just an gen pop observer who happens to be a retired auditor with a finely tuned bullshit detector. This is going to the courts.

More evidence has been turning up. Now, in Michigan, we have documented evidence that votes have been cast by unknown persons in the maiden names of married women in multiple districts. A mathematician has analyzed voting data and discovered a fraud pattern in the data, as he shows for Minnesota:

There are way too many statistical improbabilities in what is being reported as vote counts. The media, of course, who have been anti-Trump since before he was elected the first time, are aiding and abetting the fraud.

Anyone capable of processing information logically will not fall for these shenanigans.  As physicist and author Travis Shane Taylor explains, “In a sample space of 1 million marbles, 800,000 blue and 200,000 red the probability of drawing a blue marble is 80% the first time. To draw about 30 blue in a row is 0.124%. To draw 100 in a row is 0.0000000235%. To draw 250 in a row is more zeros to right of decimal point than stars in the universe!!!! To draw 138,000 blue marbles in a row is mathematically impossible within the age of the universe without human intent and interaction. In other words, cheating.”

The fix is in, though. Attorney General Barr opens an election fraud investigation, and the chief election fraud investigator, Richard Pilger, promptly resigns.

Short of a revolution, the most fraudulent election in the history of the country will probably stand.

Most Contentious US Presidential Election Since 1860

No doubt about it, but the US presidential election of 2020 is the most contentious election since the presidential election of 1860 immediately before the War of Secession, often mistakenly call the American Civil War.

At stake is the soul of a country, nay, an empire, that is on the downhill slide. A Trump win will slow the process, but not prevent its ultimate conclusion, and a Biden win will accelerate the demise. The America that once was is gone, and the America that is now will not be around for much longer.

Many pundits are predicting a civil war regardless of which candidate wins. There is plenty of evidence to support such a view. Political polarization is at an all time high. Conservatives and other rightists are being censored by most mass communication mediums and social media. The right wing is very angry about the situation, and rightfully so. In their view, the actions of those organizations is tantamount to abolishing free speech. The left wing, on the other hand, recognizes the power of preventing competing messaging which would interfere with its own. Other sources of friction are the complicity of elected officials in aiding and abetting riotous behavior in Democrat-controlled cities, especially some of the larger population centers on the West Coast. People in the rest of the country watch such shenanigans and are afraid that it could happen in their city. People who don't live in large cities wonder if it could spill over and affect them. Political animus augmented with belligerent speech from leading politicians where lines in the sand are drawn, and vague consequences threatened, are making the average citizen, who is not immersed in politics on a daily basis, afraid. Very afraid.

In response to these shenanigans, people are responding. They are stocking up on essential items, in case the supply chain is disrupted. As an aside, I would think that the people in large cities need to be more concerned about this happening that those who live in less dense areas. Gun stores are selling out. Many of the people buying guns now have never owned a firearm before. A causal perusal of online ammunition inventory reveals that most of what is left for sale are oddball collector cartridges, such as 7.62x38mm Nagant and 22 Hornet, or niche cartridges, such as 45 GAP and 30 Carbine. Don't misunderstand me - there is nothing wrong with any of those chamberings, it's just that there are not that many firearms around that can use them. Interestingly, there seems to be plenty of 7.62x39mm ammunition (for the scary AK-47), but said ammo costs three to four times more than it did two months ago. If you are looking for 9x19mm pistol ammunition or 223 Remington (5.56x45 NATO) for your AR15, forget it. If you do find it, you will probably pay through the nose.

How did we get to this point? Well, the America of today is not the same country as the America of yesteryear, when people could agree to disagree. For one thing, our educational system has preached the equality myth for several generations. When I use the term "equality myth", I am referring to the idea that equal outcomes are possible with the right social structure. This is a distinctly Marxist concept, and regardless of how many times it has been tried in the past and will be tried in the future, it will always prove to be elusive. However, there are quite large percentages of people in the US that have embraced the equality myth, and they think that if we just do it one more time, but do it correctly, it will work. I suppose these people believe in fairy tales, too.

Another reason that has contributed to the situation involves the concept of nation. At one time, in the 18th century, and maybe the early 19th century, the United States could be considered a nation. Many people think that nations and countries are the same thing, and jingoistic propaganda has not disabused them of that notion. A nation and a country are not the same thing. A nation is a collection of people with common beliefs, common heritage, common language, and common religion. A country is a chunk of land with political borders. Thus the United States is no longer a nation, but a country which is a collection of nations. In the Southwest, you have the nation of Aztlan. In South Boston, there is the nation of New Ireland. In Southeast Florida, there is a nation Florida-Caribe. In Minneapolis, there is the infamous Northern Somali nation. And in most major metropolitan downtown areas, there are various African nations. With no well-thought-out immigration policy, the constituents of these nations have immigrated to America, and when they did, they brought their own common beliefs, common heritages, common languages, and common religions. They did not abandon those things and become Americans. Citizens, yes, but not Americans. And surprisingly, or unsurprisingly, if you have been paying attention, they did not assimilate. They never had any intention of assimilating. To believe any different would mean would mean that the dirt is magic, and that as soon as they landed on America's shores, the immigrants would jettison their cultural baggage and become instant Americans. It doesn't happen that way, as the proliferation of mosques across the country will attest.

So, we have political enmity, a country fractured along ethno-national lines, and lots and lots of weapons. Will we have a civil war? I don't know, but I know that I hope and pray we don't. I do think, at the very least, we will have some sort of localized rioting. I think that some West Coast states will threaten to secede, and I think if they do, we should let them. Those states may become a magnet for malcontents that we can afford to lose. What I think is very likely is that the political party landscape will change. As the boomers in the Democrat party die off, I think that it will attract non-white immigrants and their descendants, avowed Marxists and other left wing ideologues, the lazy, and criminals. What is now the Republican party will be largely made up of whites, mostly conservative, and those non-whites that respond less to feel-good propaganda and more to classical liberalism. Unfortunately, unless both parties can get rid of their entrenched political classes, the constituents of each party will be sorely disappointed. The current system, under which a person can spend an entire adult lifetime in elected office, is untenable. It is a system in which the voters become a commodity to be traded in favor of power and influence. This is why I say that regardless of which presidential candidate is elected, America, as we know it, will cease to exist in the not-so-distant future.

Coverups

It seems like the 'independent press' in America is spending most of its efforts covering for Democrats and their friends than it is reporting and investigating. Take, for instance, the Hunter Biden story. Now, only a luddite would deny that the Biden family engaged in systematic corruption in Ukraine. And no one disputes Hunter's influence peddling, starting with MBNA, when he was fresh out of college, and MBNA gave him the title of "senior vice president" along with a six-figure salary.

But, do you see any of this in the vast wasteland called Mainstream Media?

No.

What you do see, with a few exceptions, is the suppression of anyone who tries to expose such behavior on the part of Democrats and their friends.

Now, we have Hunter Biden's laptop containing a virtual treasure trove of incriminating evidence, not only about him, but of sleepy ole pops, too. Oh, and the porn, possibly kiddie porn. But do we hear any of these details? No. And, we have the intelligence community chanting "Russia, Russia, Russia!", which doesn't make a whole lot of sense, because Hunter is lazy and sloppy and outside interests are not required to make him look bad.

What we are left with is the functional equivalent of a press cartel network with the goal of keeping the Biden family from looking any worse than they already do.

Persecution of Christians Comes To America

I came across this article about Kurt Beathard losing his job over his Christian world view this morning. We all know that the advent of national politics injected into sports has turned the entertainment sector into a dumpster fire. Right now, football has borne the brunt because of the publicity around Colin Kaepernick. However, I expect the rest of the sports entertainment industry to follow suit in the near future. Professional basketball seems to be willing to carry the momentum forward, and it is a matter of time before baseball picks it up.

Black Lives Matter, whose leaders have admitted to being trained Marxists, In a previous iteration of their website, they promoted the dissolution of traditional nuclear families, a foundational tenet of orthodox Christianity. While the page included references to parents and mothers, it purposely left out the concept of fathers. Why? Because in Western culture, the father is the traditional authority figure in the family. They have since deleted the page containing that dyscivic idea.

For Marxists, government is god, and the god they believe in is a collectivist, one-size-fits-all god. And one size fits all unless you are one of the leaders, in which case you are a god yourself. Marxists do not want any other authority figure other than themselves. And if you don't recognize them as the highest authority figure in your life, then they will make your life miserable. If they let you live.

So, how are these things related? Good question. The answer is simple. BLM and most other organizations with leftist notions are anti-Christian, that is to say, if not complete atheists, they are not devoted followers of the almighty God. Consequently, they are enemies of God. And as enemies of God, they will persecute those who are followers of God. Kurt Beathard's story is a harbinger of things to come, unless divine intervention turns things around.

Let us pray that God will raise up good men to stand up to evil in the coming battle. The time may come when we must beat our plowshares into swords and our pruning hooks into spears. And while physical battle is always a possibility, our greatest weapon is prayer.

This is no time for fence sitters.

But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.  Joshua 24:15

The Drug War Is Lost. Get Over It.

So, I was visiting a friend in a real swanky part of town last week. When I say swanky, I mean a part of town where the houses start for sale at US$ 3,000,000. The way my friend's house is situated on his street is so that when we are sitting around his patio table, we have a view of the entire front yard of one of his neighbors, who happens to be a very elderly man who requires a walker to get around.

While we were on the patio, sipping our mimosas, a late model Camaro with a slightly too loud exhaust system pulled up in front of the elderly man's home and tooted its horn. The driver was a young black fellow that I would estimate to be in his early 20s.

The elderly man came out the front door and doddered down to the street on his walker. He had a short conversation with the driver of the Camaro, handed a few bills to him, and received, from the driver, what appeared to be a half-quart clear plastic bag of something resembling marijuana. The elderly man turned around and headed back to his front door while the Camaro pulled away from the curb and left the vicinity.

This scenario typifies the retail drug trade today in America. Illicit drugs are no longer only sold in the seedy parts of downtown by seedy looking characters to seedy looking customers. Access to recreational drugs had become ubiquitous. The only way to get caught is to be wasted or to be really, really stupid.

While I am against the killing of unborn children, if recreational drug users could get organized, they should adopt the abortion slogan, "My body, my choice." By doing so, they would conflate recreational drug use with an already court-sanctified legal activity and bring some positive momentum to fighting the government suppression of recreational drug use.

I am not advocating recreational drug use. I don't use recreational drugs myself, and I find incredible the number of people who do. However, it is my considered opinion that the illegality of drugs causes way more problems than the drugs themselves. Governments in America at all levels have invested way too many taxpayer dollars in militarizing police forces in the so-called "war on drugs". Civil liberties have been thrown under the bus in this unnecessary "war", with non-knock warrants, invasive searches, and civil asset forfeiture. Innocent people, including babies, have been maimed or killed in the name of keeping us safe from those bad drugs. The SJW practice of swatting would not be possible were it not for the government infrastructure related to the war on drugs. And the number of raids gone bad due to the lack of corroboration by police where innocents have been killed is heartbreaking. And because the drugs are illegal, in many cases, it drives the consumers of the drug to crime because they have no other avenue to feed the addiction.

It's time to end the war, or at least call a truce. It would be much cheaper to give the people who want help the help they need, and for those that don't want help, well, at the risk of sounding callous, that is  a self-correcting problem.

The Prez & SCOTUS

Ruth Ginsburg, the Supreme Court justice, has passed away. She was a victim of terminal cancer for close to 21 years. That she hung on as long as she did was admirable. Her philosophy on justice in America, not so much.

With her death, the president has indicated that he will appoint a replacement. The screeching from the usual suspects was deafening. Leftist twitterati threaten rebellion and civil war. Nancy Pelosi, current Speaker of the House, has threatened impeachment. Seriously?? They are going to go after the president for doing his job?

Here is what the US Constitution has to say about the issue:

The president shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the Supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States.

I have no doubt that the opposition party will attempt to block the process. But, let's be clear about who is protecting the Constitution here. It is not Pelosi. It is not the Democratic leadership in the Senate. It is not the leftist pundits on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram.

To show you how unhinged these people are, take some time to watch this.

Millennial Leftist Suffers Trump Derangement Syndrome

UPDATE:

Utah Senator Mitt Romney (R) announced on Tuesday that he would support a floor vote on President Trump's Supreme Court pick - giving Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) a 53-seat majority and the votes needed to move forward in replacing the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, according to Politico.

Boomers

Boomers haven't been kind to America. Historically, they are the largest demographic group of native-born Americans. They had the opportunity and the wealth to ensure that America would continue to be the greatest, most productive, most libertarian country for centuries to come. They squandered that opportunity and a whole lot of that wealth.

To be fair, the groundwork for the failures that the Boomers would preside over was laid long they were born. A flurry of not very well thought out constitutional amendments were passed a half century before the Boomers could ride a bicycle. A four-term president ushered collectivism into the federal government about the time their parents' hormones went into overdrive. Heck, the immigration floodgates were opened wide while most of them were still in high school. Even so, they did nothing to reverse the trends, and, in many cases, they accelerated the trends.

Why didn't they confront the deconstruction of America?

Boomers have been accused of being extremely self-centered. It's true, and they are. They are often referred to as "the Me generation." They were the beneficiaries of post-war industrialization and the attendant wealth and leisure that came with it. Birth control and abortion happened on their watch. They grow up with cheap energy and a rapidly expanding economy. By all accounts, they had it easier than any other generation in modern history. Maybe this is the reason they let the country go to hell in a hand basket.

I like to think it was something more fundamental. I think that, as a generation, they took Western Civilization for granted. And by that, I mean that they turned their backs on the foundation of Western Civilization, Christianity. They bought into scientism. Scientism replaced religion, or more accurately, became the new religion. As a wise man recently said, "Science is now the opiate of the masses."

There is a lot of whining and complaining about Boomers by subsequent generations these days. To them, I would say, repent and turn to God. If you can't see yourself doing that, then don't be antagonistic towards God. If you want to return to what the nation was like pre-Boomer, then you must support its civic foundation. Hate on Boomers all you want. I'm a Boomer and I hate them. But use your energy to turn things around, Boomers are dying off in large numbers now. They won't be around much longer. Use your time and energy to right the wrongs and rebuild a once great civilization.

The Trickle in the Dike

I have not written in quite a while. I have been distracted with life things and have not kept up with writing about the trials and tribulations of Western Civilization.

A lot has happened in the year, 2020 Anno Domini. We saw the fall of the Russia hoax that was used to foment the unsuccessful soft coup of the legally elected government of the United States of America. We saw the either intended or unintended release of an obviously engineered virus by communist China, which made millions ill, and exacerbated the conditions of millions more, accelerating their deaths. We saw insane reactions by governments to the virus outbreak which turned civilization on its head with lockdowns and restrictions. And, most recently, we are seeing social upheaval, particularly in the United States, which was triggered by the death of a drug addict who had overdosed and was subsequently taken into the custody of a local police department, under the theory that certain ethnic groups do not get fair treatment from society in a systemic fashion.

Where is all this going?

I don't know, and I would hesitate to speculate on the future. But there are things that we know to be true. There are forces at work fomenting upheaval of the status quo. The main political parties in the USA no longer have the best interests of the people at heart. Oligarchs are buying influence within all levels of government in the East and the West. Economies are being manipulated and wealth is being concentrated. Flagrant propaganda is being held up as truth.

None of these things is positive for the common man. There is no sign of any of these things letting up. This could be the new normal for the foreseeable future.

So, how are you coping?

Making Antifa Irrelevant

There is a lot of chatter on the interwebz these days about the alt-right ratcheting up the resistance to the Radical Left as embodied in the communist Antifa these days. [NOTE: some folks say that "antifa" stands for Anti-First Amendment. Historically, the name comes from a communist political group in post-WWI Germany.] Indeed, organizations, such as Proud Boys and the Fraternal Order of Alt-Knights (FOAK) are springing up. But Antifa is well funded and apparently has both a public network for activating flunkies, and a private network for strategic messaging between puppet masters. The alt-right, by comparison, is not nearly so organized.

This blog entry, then, is directed at getting the alt-right to think about organization, which it must have in order to be effective.

There are several required dimensions to this organization of the alt-right that must happen if Antifa is to be made irrelevant.

  1. The different alt-right groups need to coalesce into the Alt-Right. Such an action infers that there is some strategic thought at the national level going on. Tactical decisions can and should be made at the local level, but in order to be successful, the tactical activities need to be aligned with a strategy.
  2. The Alt-Right needs a charismatic leader. All successful revolutions have had charismatic leaders. Think of Fidel Castro or Ayatollah Khomeini. A charismatic leader is an attraction feature of any movement. Unless there is a leader to keep people on target, the movement will flail without direction and eventually fall apart. Antifa does not have this, and eventually, it will bite them in the ass. There are already some good candidates. A couple that come to mind are Kyle "Based Stick Man" Chapman and Ivan "Dark Triad Man" Throne. Some of you may be tempted to ask me, "Why not Vox Day?"  Good question, but if you know anything about Theodore "Vox Day" Beale, you would understand that his value is in providing thought leadership rather than people leadership. He will still be a valuable resource for the Alt Right.
  3. The Alt-Right needs ideological appeal. It has a good start on this as its name implies. This appeal is codified in the 16 Points of the Alt Right, which has been provided by that great thought leader, Vox Day. They resonate with a tremendous amount of people. Unfortunately, the 16 Points is not widely distributed. Every time the opposition tries to cast the Alt Right as something it is not, these points need to be made.
  4. The Alt-Right needs to place emphasis on valid grievances. Free speech is a good start. Unrestricted immigration is another issue which qualifies. Grievances such as these need to be collected into a coherent message which is explained in a rhetorical way that appeals to the average citizen, and the message needs to be hammered at every opportunity.
  5. The Alt-Right needs to demonstrate the weakness of Antifa. It has already done this at the physical confrontation at Berkeley, and it needs to maintain this superiority. But that engagement is only important in the context of Berkeley. What the Alt-Right needs to do is combine physical superiority with intellectual superiority. The latter should be relatively easy, as Antifa has only shown the ability to provide emotional appeals on the level of toddlers.
  6. The Alt-Right needs to learn how to induce Antifa into over-reactions. A steady diet of over-reactions on the part of Antifa will alienate a substantial portion of the citizenry.
  7. The Alt-Right should also engage in activities that appeal to local communities. The best activities would be high visibility responses to problems that the news media happens to be covering. For instance, if the Alt-Right had shown up after the D.C. Antifa riots to help with the cleanup, it would have been pure PR gold.
  8. The Alt-Right needs to get behind political candidates that are sympathetic to the cause. The profile of such candidates would include a recognition that Antifa is dyscivic and dyscivilizational. Support for these candidates would mean volunteering to canvass and other campaign activities.
  9. The Alt-Right should never, ever throw an ally under the bus. Organizations are made up of people and all people have flaws. We don't have to agree with each other on everything. But we do need to agree on the basics. Take a lesson from the Left. When one of their allies is remarked as being over the top, their reply is always, "He may be a little extreme in that area, but he is right on the issue at hand."  Once the Alt-Right starts being judgmental on its allies and sympathizers, all is lost. Don't do it.
  10. The Alt-Right needs to engage in sloganeering. I am talking about bumper-sticker rhetoric. We are pretty good at internet memes, and we need to keep that up. We also need t-shirts, bumper stickers, and posters. This gets the message out and keeps hammering the message. In addition to be pro-Alt-Right, the slogans also need to be anti-Antifa.

Well, those are my thoughts on what the Alt-Right needs to do to make Antifa irrelevant. I base this on the study of successful insurgencies in the 20th century and what I have read recently about asymetrical warfare, sometimes called fourth generation warefare. We are in a low intensity war right now. If we don't want it to become a high intensity war, we need to take action now.

The Alt Right Manifesto

The Alt Right Manifesto

Vox Day has published an Alt-Right Manifesto on his Vox Popoli blog.
  1. The Alt Right is of the political right in both the American and the European sense of the term. Socialists are not Alt Right. Progressives are not Alt Right. Liberals are not Alt Right. Communists, Marxists, Marxians, cultural Marxists, and neocons are not Alt Right.
  2. The Alt Right is an ALTERNATIVE to the mainstream conservative movement in the USA that is nominally encapsulated by Russell Kirk's 10 Conservative Principles, but in reality has devolved towards progressivism. It is also an alternative to libertarianism.
  3. The Alt Right is not a defensive attitude and rejects the concept of noble and principled defeat. It is a forward-thinking philosophy of offense, in every sense of that term. The Alt Right believes in victory through persistence and remaining in harmony with science, reality, cultural tradition, and the lessons of history.
  4. The Alt Right believes Western civilization is the pinnacle of human achievement and supports its three foundational pillars: Christianity, the European nations, and the Rule of Law.
  5. The Alt Right is openly and avowedly nationalist. It supports all nationalisms and the right of all nations to exist, homogeneous and unadulterated by foreign invasion and immigration.
  6. The Alt Right is anti-globalist. It opposes all groups who work for globalist ideals or globalist objectives.
  7. The Alt Right is anti-equalitarian. It rejects the idea of equality for the same reason it rejects the ideas of unicorns and leprechauns, noting that human equality does not exist in any observable scientific, legal, material, intellectual, sexual, or spiritual form.
  8. The Alt Right is scientodific. It presumptively accepts the current conclusions of the scientific method (scientody), while understanding a) these conclusions are liable to future revision, b) that scientistry is susceptible to corruption, and c) that the so-called scientific consensus is not based on scientody, but democracy, and is therefore intrinsically unscientific.
  9. The Alt Right believes identity > culture > politics.
  10. The Alt Right is opposed to the rule or domination of any native ethnic group by another, particularly in the sovereign homelands of the dominated peoples. The Alt Right is opposed to any non-native ethnic group obtaining excessive influence in any society through nepotism, tribalism, or any other means.
  11. The Alt Right understands that diversity + proximity = war.
  12. The Alt Right doesn't care what you think of it.
  13. The Alt Right rejects international free trade and the free movement of peoples that free trade requires. The benefits of intranational free trade is not evidence for the benefits of international free trade.
  14. The Alt Right believes we must secure the existence of white people and a future for white children.
  15. The Alt Right does not believe in the general supremacy of any race, nation, people, or sub-species. Every race, nation, people, and human sub-species has its own unique strengths and weaknesses, and possesses the sovereign right to dwell unmolested in the native culture it prefers.
  16. The Alt Right is a philosophy that values peace among the various nations of the world and opposes wars to impose the values of one nation upon another as well as efforts to exterminate individual nations through war, genocide, immigration, or genetic assimilation.
Over the next few weeks, we will take each one of these in turn and examine in more detail.

I think this is an excellent start for a ideological manifesto. Of course, I would expect nothing less from the superior intellect of Vox Day. It has already become controversial, with the usual suspects coming unglued. Curiously, the most vehement vituperation has come from the so-called conservatives, which many of the alt-right would call "cuckservatives".

Even the concept of an alt-right has people worried (and it should). Hillary called out the alt-right in a speech.  The neocons are blowing their stacks. Racist organizations such as the NAACP and SPLC are calling the kettle black.

Even more interesting, and the aspect of the alt-right that no one in the mainstream is taking into account is that (a) the alt-right has no hierarchical organization; it is a true grass-roots movement, (b) the alt-right is extremely social media savvy, and (c) the alt-right understands and uses 4GW tactics. These factors will make the alt right more powerful than their numbers would indicate.

From an intellectual perspective, the alt-right pushes several culture hot buttons. The intellectually honest will ask themselves questions about preconceptions,
  • Is the concept of tribalism morally wrong?
  • Are PC concepts, such as diversity, contrary to human nature?
  • Has PC corrupted science? What else has it corrupted?
  • Is free trade a mechanism that works to shift wealth from the middle class to the oligarchs?
  • What has Conservatism really conserved?
The people that are not asking these questions are the problem that the alt right is attempting to address.

What is 'Terrorism'?

I hate the term terrorist or terrorism. Basically, it has become the broad brush to paint anyone whose goals and aims do not align with that of any particular set of ruling authorities.

Most Westerners, particularly Americans, have this idea that certain behaviors in conflict are acceptable and other behaviors are not. They get this from being conditioned from the time they are toddlers, as they are taught the 'rules' of conflict.

On the national scale, these rules date back to the Treaty of Westphalia, which, in essence, divided the parties affected by conflict into three groups: sovereign governments, military forces under the control of sovereign governments, and the general population. In Western thought, the first two are responsible for managing and engaging in conflict, and the latter has the responsibility to stay out of it.

This is an artificial construct. First, even though the West has been the dominant political force in the world for the last 400 years, not all nations and cultures subscribe to Western values, particularly regarding conflict and war. Second, while Western rules regarding war and conflict seem logical to most Westerners, they are an anathema to a large part of the world. Finally, Western rules around war and conflict require forethought and planning to implement, and are never implemented well, as so many 'war crimes' trials indicate.

What does this mean to us today in the current wave of “terrorism”? If we define terrorism as the use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims, then the list of terrorist organizations becomes very long, and includes most of the governments of the world as well as organizations that are not recognized as governments. However, most people today think of Mohammedan radicals when they hear the word terrorism. This is not an unreasonable reaction.

Most people today do not understand what is going on in what we call terrorism. The New York Times is calling for 'reform' from inside the Mohammedan religions. They, and most like them, do not see that the Mohammedan radicals are the reformers. They do not see that what is happening now is the third historical Mohammedan Expansion.

What we are witnessing is not terrorism, but war. It is a war that we do not recognize as such because of our conditioning around what war is supposed to look like. Our vision is clouded by the fog of multiculturalism, which further handicaps our perceptions. If Western civilization is going to survive, we need to turn this around and get on a war footing. We will not be able to fight this war like we have fought wars since the Treaty of Westphalia; we must instead change our policies, tactics, and strategy. Otherwise, Western civilization will be swept under the rug of history.

Effects of Unrestricted Immigration

We Americans tend to be focused on what is happening in our own backyard, and there is nothing wrong with that.  But, sometimes, we miss the larger picture when we are consumed with our own problems.  Immigration and illegal migration is an issue which concerns many Americans, but it turns out that is an issue of concern in other parts of the world as well.
The Obama administration has taken an official stance of almost unrestricted immigration from countries in the Western Hemisphere, and if people can get to the United States without coming through an airport or a seaport, they fall under the same policy.

Why would a presidential administration have such a policy?  The prevailing theory is that it boils down to politics.  The Obama administration, being a decidedly leftist-collectivist Democrat administration, assumes that new immigrants, legal or illegal, benefitting from this policy, will become Democrat voters.

Such a policy has the appearance of near universal acceptance among leftist-collectivist political parties.  Consider Sweden for a moment.  The Swedes have engaged in contemplative navel gazing for about two generations now.  Their great socialist experiment has enabled a standard of living to be envied.  The problem is that their birth rate has fallen dramatically (1.6 births per native Swedish woman) while their median age has crept up to 41.2. (source: CIA World Fact Book). Overall, the Swedish birth rate is 1.9 (2.1 is the replacement rate for a stable population), so the difference is made up by immigrants. With a declining native population, the Swedish Social Democratic Party, the predominant political party, has consciously increases immigration from other parts of the world, particularly the Middle East, in order to provide taxpayers who, theoretically, will sustain the social programs that Sweden is so famous for.  The same motivation for sympathetic voters provides the impetus for the Social Democrats in Sweden as it does for Democrats in the United States.

But, what are the unintended consequences in Sweden? They are similar to those which US citizens are aware. Stress on social services and social infrastructure. Declining labor wages, and internal security concerns.  The latter is something that took most Swedes by surprise, and that the Social Democrats choose to ignore.

Recently, the Swedish Police issued a report concerning their coverage of police services in Sweden. They have identified 55 zones within metropolitan areas of Sweden where they will no longer enforce the laws of the nation.  Here is the map from the report:

What started out with minor attacks on government service functionaries has turned into a resistance movement where the police are resisted whenever they attempt to intervene.
These no-go zones are primarily so-called “exclusion areas” which is the politically correct term for the 186 ghettos that have sprung up around Sweden in the past two decades. These areas are predominantly populated by immigrants from muslim countries with low education and even lower employment rates. The exception being the enthusiastic entrepreneurs in the fields of drug dealing, protection rackets and robberies.
Since the real law doesn’t apply, the function of justice has largely been taken over by the gangs themselves, not unlike how the mafia is seen as the go-to place in rural Italy when the local police is too corrupt to serve its purpose. Unofficial courts are held and punishments are meted out based on the cultural norms of the dominant gangs. Some no-go areas even have vehicle checkpoints at the border. Not police checkpoints, but the gangs protecting their turf from law enforcement and rival gangs.
The Social Democrats sticking their collective head in the sand. They are aiding and abetting such behavior by actually increasing the immigration quota.

Like the Obama administration’s policy, this is not a sustainable immigration policy for Sweden.  In fact, it looks more like a fifth column invasion, where the goal is to destabilize Sweden’s society in preparation for more ominous events.

Will the Swedes accept this over the long haul? Time will tell. If they do, then the long term prospects for native Swedes is extinction. The likely alternative, I fear is a violent backlash that may enshrine the attitudes of Ander Breivik.

Fed Fraud Coming to Light

David Stockman lauds the end of Quantitative Easing (QE), and identifies it as the fraud it really is.
QE has finally come to an end, but public comprehension of the immense fraud it embodied has not even started. In round terms, this official counterfeiting spree amounted to $3.5 trillion— reflecting the difference between the Fed’s approximate $900 billion balance sheet when its “extraordinary policies” incepted at the time of the Lehman crisis and its $4.4 trillion of footings today. That’s a lot of something for nothing. It’s a grotesque amount of fraud
The scam embedded in this monumental balance sheet expansion involved nothing so arcane as the circuitous manner by which new central bank reserves supplied to the banking system impact the private credit creation process. As is now evident, new credits issued by the Fed can result in the expansion of private credit to the extent that the money multiplier is operating or simply generate excess reserves which cycle back to the New York Fed if, as in the present instance, it is not.
But the fact that the new reserves generated during QE have cycled back to the Fed does not mitigate the fraud. The latter consists of the very act of buying these trillions of treasuries and GSE securities in the first place with fiat credits manufactured by the central bank. When the Fed does QE, its open market desk buys treasury notes and, in exchange, it simply deposits in dealer bank accounts new credits made out of thin air. As it happened, about $3.5 trillion of such fiat credits were conjured from nothing during the last 72 months.
All of these bonds had permitted Washington to command the use of real economic resources. That is, to consume goods and services it obtained directly in the form of payrolls, contractor services, military tanks and ammo etc; and, indirectly, in the form of the basket of goods and services typically acquired by recipients of government transfer payments. Stated differently, the goods and services purchased via monetizing $3.5 trillion of government debt embodied a prior act of production and supply. But the central bank exchanged them for an act of nothing.
What is the effect today?

So much for recovery.  We will continue to monitor the situation.

Mohammedan Terror in the Great White North

Canadians, who often criticize US foreign policy, calling it responsible for the incidents of terror that have stricken the US, are now the recipients of terror attacks themselves.

First, a soldier is killed in Quebec by a radicalized Mohammedan convert on the 20th, and then, this morning, it appears that multiple shooters attacked the Canadian War Memorial and Parliament at nearly the same time.

The danger from radical Mohammedans is not a surprise to Canadian authorities.  In fact, law enforcement personnel met with the killer in Monday's attack less than two weeks before the incident.

These attacks will be called "crime" by the authorities in North America.  But, they are not crimes; they are acts of war.  Westerners have a distorted view of what war is.  Since the Peace of Westphalia in the mid-17th century, and clarified by Carl von Clausewitz in his seminal writings, the West has thought of civilization and the conduct of war as three parts: the government, the armed forces, and the civilian population.  In the Clausewitzian world, governments and armed forces conduct war, and the civilian population stays out of the conflict. This construct, in which armed forces maneuver in areas where the population is absent, is often called "third generations warfare" (3GW).  When civilians engage in destructive activities against their nation's enemies, they are thought of as criminals, since, in 3GW, there is no place for civilians.  If captured or confronted, these civilians are treated as criminals and not as soldiers.

Unfortunately for the West, the rest of the world is not hampered by such artificial rules.  In most of the rest of the world, people have a tribal mentality. They fight to protect their families, then their communities, then their tribes, and then whatever greater group is of interest, in this case, religion.  This is the way the world has worked in all recorded history up until the 19th century.  Because the non-Western world recognizes that governments and armies cannot exist without support of people, they see the civilian population as a legitimate target, or an opposing tribe, if you will.

Now, getting back to Canada, and by extension, every other Western nation, if you want to prevent domestic terrorism, you do it the same way as you handle Ebola.  First, you do not let it into the country.  Both Canada and the U.S.A. have abysmal, idiotic immigration policies.  Those policies need to be fixed.  If it pops up inside the country, you quarantine it with extreme prejudice.  You can doctor it if you want to, but unlike Ebola, there is probably not much of a therapy or regimen that will give you a 50% success factor.

Sound like discrimination?  You betcha! And with no apologies.  It is war of the cultures, boys and girls, and the other side is not taking prisoners, except to be used for beheadings on Youtube.  If Western civilization is going to survive, it will have to do the things that are necessary to survive.  This will not be popular among most Canadians today, but as these acts of war/terror become more prevalent, one hopes that the Canadians will wake up and repent of their misguided suppositions.

The Amazon Chronicles

If you have not been following trends in the publishing industry, you are missing out on a terrific drama.  Online retailer Amazon has kicked sand in the face of the Big 5 publishing houses, and one in particular, Hachette, has taken particular offense.

The net of the spat is that Amazon understands the economics for fiction sales, especially e-books, which are highly elastic (for those of you in Boston, that means the lower the price, the more units you sell).  Hachette, on the other hand, sets prices artificially high and "discounts" them heavily based on volume orders.  In order to preserve the sales of hardbound books, Hachette prices the e-book versions higher than the paperback version that come out after hardbound sales taper off.  Amazon thinks that is stupid and has built a pricing model to reflect the same.  This is a great boon to the consumer.

Because Hachette doesn't like giving up control, they have dug their heels in.  Amazon's response was to take Hachette at its word, and charge the artificially high prices that were Hachette's MSRP.  Furthermore, Amazon would not pre-order Hachette books or keep them in stock.

Authors and pundits have taken sides and the ensuing kerfluffle has been most entertaining.  Me? I am on the side of the consumer, therefore, I support Amazon.  Here is a little piece I wrote in another venue back in the spring when this cranked up:
Amazon, whose position as a literature retailer was solidified after the Apple and large publishing houses were sued under federal antitrust laws for an attempt to fix the prices of e-books, is now at it again, going head-to-head with French publishing house, Hachette.
For those of you not in tune with the publishing industry, what Amazon is doing is to refuse to continue the extreme discounting of artificially high retail prices assigned by the publishing houses, particularly for e-books. As a mass market retailer, Amazon can only sell books with a profit margin up to a certain price, depending upon the medium, length, and popularity of the author. Because of the way the publishing distribution discount system works, books which have a higher retail price require a higher distribution price. This means Amazon makes about half the margin on a more expensive, but steeply discounted book from the major publishers.
Hachette's first complaint was rooted in the fact that Amazon is now selling its books for the price that Hachette itself suggests. Now, Amazon is not pre-ordering potential blockbusters, like J. K. Rowlings' new book, SILKWORM, or building inventory for other popular books from Hachette. Because of Amazon's customer loyalty and purchasing power, this has the effect of slowing down Hachette's sales, and deflating best-seller status of Hachette's offerings.
Hachette needs to understand the new economic realities, or the market will leave them behind. The future is e-books. Clearly, e-books do not cost near as much to produce as hardcopy books, since there is no printing, binding, etc. The large publishing houses need to pass that savings on to the consumer, instead of conspiring to prop up artificial prices. One would think that the big publishing houses could have read the writing on the wall after the antitrust suit.
The sad part is that Hachette's authors are the ones that are suffering. The authors' royalty per unit would be the same or maybe slightly lower with Amazon's model, but with the lower retail price, they would sell many more copies, putting more money into the authors' pockets.
The fight isn't over and both sides are still heaving salvos at each other.  Recently, Rob Spillman, part of the establishment publishing industry, wrote a piece for Salon about why he thinks Amazon needs to be curtailed.  Unfortunately for Mr. Spillman, he did not have many facts in his op-ed, and he didn't use much logic.  This set him up for one of the best and most thorough fiskings that I have ever read in my life over on JA Konrath's blog.

The traditional publishing model is a dinosaur going head-to-head with 21st century technology.  I suspect in 50 years, young economics students will see traditional publishing replace the "buggy whip" symbology that was used on us when referring to technological obsolescence.

While most of the press around the Amazon-Hachette dispute revolves around economics, the more important point is ignored. That is, the political aspect.  The gatekeepers can no longer control the narrative.  Everyman can publish now, and they may have thoughts and opinions which are not sympathetic to the progressive-collectivist worldview.  I suspect this is the real reason so many are taking sides with Hachette when there is no logical reason to do so.

Ubuntu

I often wonder why more people do not use Linux on their home computers.  After all, there are several distributions that are free, and many come with a library of free applications.

I have been running Ubuntu on an old Toshiba Centrino laptop for about 3 years now. It comes with Libre Office, which, as near as I can tell, is 98.44% compatible with Windows Office 2007.  For a browser, I use Chromium, also free (I quit using Mozilla after the SJWs demanded Brendan Eich's resignation).  This machine is about 8 years old, and the operations I run on it are as fast as my new company Lenovo laptop with Windows 8.  Chromium on Ubuntu is much, much faster than even the 64-bit Explorer browser.

Ubuntu is easy to install; it practically installs itself.  The only issues I have run into is that there are some apps you have to install from a command line interface with a keyed-in "apt-get" command.  Unix/Linux commands seem to be obtuse, and the the propeller heads seem to take great joy in making commands obtuse.  Who would ever think of naming a string search command "grep", after all?  And, once in a while, I have to look pretty hard for a device driver.

Overall however, I have enjoyed the speed at which Ubuntu operates and the fact that I can leave my laptop up and running for months without rebooting (try that with Windows).  Ubuntu is as intuitive as the Mac OS and faster than either Mac or Windows.  There is a great deal of support on the interwebz too.
